Most of our treats are available in our classic recipe as well as our better-for-you (BFY)* version. Our BFY treats are made with gluten-free California almond flour, contain less sugar, and are completely free of grains & starches. Whole cakes are currently only available by special order. Hello there, I'm Jill, a long-time Union City resident and owner of The Apron & Whisk.
I've been not-so-secretly obsessed with baking since anyone can remember. After years of working in the corporate world, I decided to pursue my lifelong dream and seized the opportunity to take up baking full-time.
At The Apron & Whisk, you'll find classic cupcakes, cakes, ice creams, and whatever else I'm up for baking! You'll also find a variety of better-for-you versions of my family's favorite bakery treats! Our better-for-you treats are made with less sugar and baked using protein and fiber-rich nut flours so they are completely free of grains and starches.
I'm thrilled to be able to open up a cozy little bakeshop in my own neighborhood and invite you to come in an enjoy something sweet!
